Colombian Association of Food and Industry Acodrés : En Evolving Guild (Asociación Colombiana De La Industria Gastronómica Acodrés: Un Gremio En Evolución)

The text presented below, is the result of a research project on business history of the Colombian Association of Food Industry, which was proposed as a general objective to recover the 50-year history of the guild ACODRÉS know the levels of development achieved by the institution as well as the projection of it, and recognizing people who built and contributed to the formation and evolution of the partnership. Qualitative methodology guided the research, requiring the review of archival documents of the association and personal files of newspaper articles that led to the compilation of texts of the press and photographic images (such as secondary sources), while conducting 13 in-depth interviews with honorary chairmen, members of the Board and experts who belong to the sector partnership and the development of surveys aimed at the different chapters of Acodrés. I thank all those who kindly provided information (files, photos, stories, etc…) Related to the subject of the research project mentioned above, as well as the people of the chapters that sent the requested information
