Compensation of Intangible (Reputation) Damages for Individual Entrepreneurs in Judicial Practice of Russian Federation

The article deals with the lack of uniformity in judicial practice regarding compensation of reputational damages to individual entrepreneurs. Most commercial courts recognize compensation of intangible (reputational) damage as a non-pecuniary damage. Thus, the independence of non-pecuniary (reputational) damage as a means of defense is completely lost. The solution to this problem is possible by creating a universal way to protect the intangible benefits of persons at civil law (individuals and legal entities) – compensation of intangible damage
