Competitività, imprenditorialità e immigrazione. Il caso del Veneto
<em>Competitività, imprenditorialità e immigrazione. Il caso del Veneto </em> - In un contesto economico sempre più dinamico e competitivo, la capacità di un territorio di attrarre risorse umane qualificate si dimostra una caratteristica chiave per accrescere la propria competitività in un mercato sempre più globalizzato. In questa prospettiva il contributo dell’immigrazione alla competitività dei sistemi economici è stato studiato soprattutto analizzandone il ruolo nel mercato del lavoro. Seguendo un recente approccio teorico e metodologico sviluppatosi nel contesto americano, il paper analizza la relazione tra immigrazione, imprenditorialità e competitività, focalizzando l’attenzione sulle imprese con imprenditore immigrato considerandone anche il percorso formativo. Il presente lavoro approfondisce questa tematica analizzando i risultati di una ricerca quantitativa condotta tra imprenditori immigrati a capo di aziende manifatturiere e di servizi in Veneto, atta ad analizzarne caratteristiche, motivazioni e l’apporto che forniscono all’economia locale. I risultati dell’analisi rappresentata in questo paper indicano che gli imprenditori di origine immigrata possono rappresentare una risorsa importante per l’economia locale, attraverso percorsi imprenditoriali originali che valorizzano in molti casi la formazione e le competenze dell’immigrato. Enormi potenzialità vi sono ancora sul fronte dello sviluppo di processi di internazionalizzazione che facciano leva sulle imprese etniche così come dal punto di vista del sistema formativo.
