[eng] Jean-Paul Bernard : Social conflicts facin g industrial economy. The interactions between the economie and social aspects of industrial activity tend to be usually overlooked. The analysis of strikes, both at the level of firms and of industries, is one way of bringing out the logic of the development of capital and labour. The article gives some indications as concerns these links, illustrating the importance of growth and size of the production plants in the genesis and differentiation of conflict.
