The Conformity of Goods in the CISG : Current Status of the Matter (La Conformidad Material de las Mercaderías en la Convención de Viena de 1980 Sobre Compraventa Internacional: Estado Actual de la Materia) (Spanish)

One of the issues of greater relevance in the scope of the international commercial transactions is the one of the conformity of goods. The different positions that are maintained in the local regulations on the parameters or criteria that shall be adopted by the parties and the judge or arbitrator to decide if the seller has delivered what was waited for the buyer and the autonomous criteria that was adopted by the CISG has been constantly analyzed by in international doctrine. In this article we analyze the rules of the CISG in regards to the obligations of the seller with respect to the quality of goods as in article 35, and it interpretation by the doctrine and the jurisprudence in the local and international scope
