Considerations on the Structure of the Economic Information System

The structure of the information economic (or other) system is defined starting from the real meaning of the word structure, which is the internal organizational mode of the system for the accomplishment of its automatic data processing function. Au fond, it represents the entirety of the information system's fulfilment principles, established on the ground of the fundamental elements that define the activity domain for which it fulfils the automatic data processing function. For this reason, one may say that the structure of the information system represents, in fact, the principled pattern of the system itself. The structural component parts of any information system, conceived for any activity domain, are the inputs (of data), (on which) processing operations (defined by means of specific operation, management and legal rules) and outputs (results requested by the user) (are applied).
