This article investigates how corporate law reform law as an external factor has influenced that corporate ownership pattern in India. This article establishes that the corporate law reforms molded by national priorities (influenced by the high winds of political changes) acted as an explanation for germination of a complex corporate ownership pattern (both concentrated and dispersed) in India
