Credit Risk Management in Commercial Banks in Kosovo

Credit risk management is a systematic issue which requires special attention from each institution that deal with credit giving. Therefore this issue is elaborated in wide dimensions according to standards defined by the subject with administrative, financial and managing autonomy with essential principles of risk management but with different systems and policies depending from commercial banks they implement. The aim of this research is to find how this process is evaluated by commercial banks in Kosovo, which methods are used for measuring this process, how applicable are advanced methods for measuring risk in Kosovo taking into consideration the fact that Kosovo is a country in transition. The research has been conducted in commercial banks that operate throughout Kosovo. The data from this research will be processed with a statistical software SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Sciences) which will also help us to analyze and interpret the results in detailed form
