Critical Success Factors for Adopting Lean Problem Solving Principles in Malaysian Automotive : A Dematel Analysis
Out of four main segments of Lean namely philosophy, process, people & partners and problem solving, this study intends to classify critical success factors (CSFs) for adopting problem solving principles in Malaysian automotive. A Focus Group of 16 subject matter experts was engaged. The Decision Making Trial and Laboratory (DEMATEL) method was applied to compare pair wise impact relations of highly relevant success factors. Out of 32 highly relevant success factors, 10 factors have been resulted in as the most critical factors. The paper helps the organization to build a culture favorable to successful problem solving in a lean way
