Das Ende der KPdSU und neue politische Kräfte in Rußland, der Ukraine und Weißrußland

Die vorliegende Untersuchung, die in zwei Berichte aufgegliedert ist, befaßt sich mit zwei gegenläufigen Trends im parteipolitschen Spektrum der slawischen republiken Rußland, Ukraine und Weißrussland. Zum einen schildert sie die Ursachen für den Untergang der KPdSU, die als zentraler Pfeiler des Sowjetsystems das politische Leben im Land bestimmt hatte. Zum andern schildert sie Entstehung, Struktur und Programmatik neuer Parteien und Bewegungen in den drei Republiken, wobei auch solche Gruppierungen berücksichtigt werden, die sich aus der KPdSU herausbilden. Der Bericht bezieht teilweise Entwicklungen nach dem gescheiterten Putsch vom August 1991 mit ein. Er stützt sich auf Originalquellen der Parteien, auf Beiträge westlicher Experten und auf die Ergebnisse einer Forschungsreise.
