Determinants of Dividend Payout Ratio Related to Capital Structure Decisions in Indian Scenario : An Empirical Investigation through Logistic Regression

The present study has been conducted by us to investigate the various determinants of Dividend Payout Ratio related to Capital Structure Decisions for the companies belonging to BSE500 utilizing Logistic Regression. “Dividend payout ratio” is used as Dependent variable and 10 independent variables related to capital structure decisions namely “Interest Coverage Ratio”, “Tangibility”, “Financial leverage”, “Non debt tax shield”, “Profitability” (Return on Assets), “Growth rate (Assets)”, “Degree of operating leverage”, “Business Risk”, “Size of firm (Log Sales)” and “Size of firm (Log Assets)” is taken into consideration for the study
