DETERMINANTS OF THE AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTIVITY GROWTH AMONG ROMANIAN REGIONS

Productivity is the synthetic expression of the efficiency with which productionfactors are being used and mattes the competitiveness of economic systems. This study aims toanalyze agricultural productivity growth among Romanian regions. To identify the factorsthat influenced agricultural labour productivity in terms of the territorial profile, we used afactor analysis model for the Farm net value added indicator on labour time unit. Theevaluation of total agricultural productivity was performed by using efficiency scoresdetermined with the Data Envelopment Analysis method. The results highlight thedeterminants of productivity variations in dynamic and territory.
