Migration of large IT projects becomes complex, especially where a large number of software assets are involved. IT migration is essential to integrate legacy systems with new systems, and when large firms are acquired by another firm. A structured methodology is needed for seamless integration. This paper provides a literature review of different models used for IT migration, and recommends a model that can be used in complex case scenarios
