[eng] From the analysis of changes intervened in the field on Intellectual Property Rights during the last 20 years in United States, the article puts highlights the « imperial dimension » of this right. This thesis is established by recalling the relations existing between some provisions of the Bayh-Dole Act (section 204 nota-bly) which associate transfer of « exclusive licenses » and « preference for the American industry » on one hand and some of the changes introduced in the Trade Act (the section 301, notably) on the other hand... An illustration in the way these legal resources are used to impose at the world level the new American IP right, is given, in the case of Semiconductors.
