Economic Analysis and Exergy Analysis of Solar Thermal-Photovoltaic Power and Heating System

In the context of promoting "carbon peaking" and "carbon neutral" energy, the complementary use of multiple energy sources has been further developed. This paper studies a type of combined solar thermal- Photovoltaic (ST-PV) power generation and heating system to explore the coupling of various forms of solar energy utilization and the feasibility of solar heating. The working principle of the system is introduced, and the transformed system is analyzed in terms of the exergy and economy. The results show that the maximum heat loss of the solar collector is 28MW and the heat output efficiency is 33%, and the output power increases with the increasing intensity of direct solar radiation. Moreover, the efficiency of the solar thermal turbine at all levels decreases step by step, but the overall efficiency of the solar thermal turbine remains unchanged. The results of economic analysis show that the dynamic payback period of combined PV power and solar thermal heat generation is 5.9 years, the net present value is 101 million yuan and the internal rate of return is 30%, and the coal saving is about 2100t, so it proves that the combined ST-PV system has good economic benefits and profitability
