Ecuador: Binding Constraints to Growth: IDB LAC Competitiveness & Growth Seminar

This presentation corresponds to the study "Ecuador: Binding Constraints to Growth" in which the Growth Diagnostic Model (GDM) is followed with the aim of identifying the binding constraints to Ecuadorian growth, defined as those constraints whose removal would have the largest payoff in terms of growth. As per the strategy, different potential reasons constraining growth are assessed, in light of the stylized facts characterizing the country's economic performance.
