Effective and Efficient Conversion of Solar Energy Using Hybrid Optical Doped Amplifiers

The conversion of solar energy is proposed by using light source injecting into a length of fiber laser. Hybrid amplifiers with different gain bandwidths are indensible for long haul wavelength multiplexed optical communication systems in C-band and L-band. In this paper, we proposed that light is pumped by using pump source along with hybrid optical doped fiber amplifiers. For solar energy conversion the hybrid doped fiber amplifier scheme in which EDFA and TDFA are cascaded is proposed. The gain spectrum of EDFA has been broadened and flattened by cascading EDFA with TDFA which increases the efficiency of solar energy conversion. On using this configuration we have obtained a bandwidth of 100 nm for energy conversion
