Eine Lieferanten- und Einkaufsanalyse bei der Sony Deutschland GmbH
The following Thesis analyzes the Non Product purchasing processes of Sony Germanyin order to optimize the corporate purchasing functions. The key issue was the unccordinatedpurchasing by miscellaneous departments and employees within Sony Germanythat did not utilize the corporate Non Product purchasing department. Anothergoal was to show the current purchasing situation of Sony Germany from a neutral andunibiased point of view.Within the theoretical part of this Thesis the reader learns about theories of a lean andefficient procurement proccess. Furthermore, the effects of electronic support of procurementis laid out.The analysis showed that 84 % of all Non Product purchases were not executed throughthe purchasing department. That means that within 6 months goods and services valueingabout 29 million have been ordered under supposed bad conditions. An estimatedcost saving of about 5 % would thus result in about 3 million savings per year.Based on the intermediate results projects were stared to improve the purchasing situationfrom a strategic point of view. A project plan was developed that shows the timeframe as well as the organisational background. Purchasing guidelines were developedand put into place as a basis for all further activities and actions.
