Eine Voraussetzung für einen nachhaltigen Aufschwung in Ostdeutschland : mehr Ausrüstungsinvestitionen

Seit zwei Jahren entwickelt sich das Wirtschaftswachstum in Ost- und Westdeutschland weiter auseinander. Nach dem vereinigungsbedingten Bauboom in Ostdeutschland trägt der anhaltende Normalisierungsprozess in der Bauwirtschaft dazu maßgeblich bei. Trotzdem ist in den neuen Ländern der Bauanteil bei rückläufigen Investitionsraten noch zu hoch, um ausreichende Wachstumskräfte für einen erneuten Aufholprozess freizusetzen. Für einen sich selbsttragenden und nachhaltigen Aufschwung ist aber eine deutlich höhere Investitionsdynamik bei den Ausrüstungen erforderlich. Diese fallen aber je Erwerbsfähigen im Vergleich zur westdeutschen Wirtschaft seit 1998 unter deren Niveau, obwohl von staatlicher Seite günstige Rahmenbedingen und Planungssicherheit für Investoren geschaffen wurden. Damit sinken die Chancen auf eine schnelle und nachhaltige Erholung der ostdeutschen Wirtschaft.
