Einige Auswirkungen der Währungspolitik auf den finanziellen Sektor Im ersten Abschnitt des Aufsatzes werden monetäre Auswirkungen geltender währungspolitischer Regelungen behandelt, die aus der monetären Theorie der Zahlungsbilanz und aus der Kaufkraftparitäten-Theorie abzuleiten sind. Der Verfasser kommt dabei zu dem Ergebnis, daß die Kaufkraftparitäten- Theorie im Verhältnis der europäischen Währungen zum Dollar nicht zum Zuge kommen kann, weil die Wechselkursbewegungen nicht "unabhängig" (G. Cassel) sind. Von einem Versagen des Theorems kann nicht gesprochen werden, weil die Voraussetzungen für sein Funktionieren fehlen. Es gilt also generell der monetäre Ansatz der Zahlungsbilanz-Theorie und damit besteht ein direkter (internationaler) Zinszusammenhang. Länder mit vergleichbar niedrigem Zinsniveau (und einer relativ geringen Inflation) werden in doppelter Hinsicht zu Kapitalexportländern: Als bevorzugte Gläubigerländer für ausländische Kreditnehmer und durch das Bestreben inländischer Anleger, in Länder mit einer relativ höheren Nominalverzinsung auszuweichen. Konkrete Auswirkungen dieses Umstandes auf die Geschäftspolitik der Banken werden im zweiten Abschnitt des Aufsatzes untersucht. Dabei werden insbesondere geschäftspolitische Konsequenzen analysiert, die sich eben aus der Substitution des Wechselkursrisikos durch das Zinsänderungsrisiko ergeben
