El proceso de acumulacion y la debilidad de los actores
Este articulo sostiene que la principal limitacion del proceso de acumulacion en los paises latinoamericanos reside en la falta de actores sociales fuertes, capaces de asegurar un crecimiento autonomo, sostenido y equitativo. Durante las tres decadas anteriores a la crisis, el crecimiento del producto, el empleo y las inversiones alcanzaron un alto nivel de dinamismo, pero con las deficiencias de una creciente dependencia externa y una escasa importancia de la inversion privada respecto de la estatal. Aunque el proceso de modernizacion y absorcion de empleo en el sector industrial haya sido intenso, persisten altos contingentes de fuerza de trabajo en sectores tradicionales, manteniendose la importancia del trabajo informal
