Empirical analysis of new firm growth factors using Russian data
This paper presents results from research into growth factors of Russian entrepreneurial firms. The study was based on the data collected by the EBRD during Business Environment and Enterprise Performance Survey (BEEPS) in 2005. From an analysis of 240 Russian firms we suggest factors from the firm’s external and internal environment that significantly influence rates of growth in sales volume. Among external factors the significant influence on growth has the hostility of the environment. Among the internal factors the change in organizational structure and implementation of the TQM significantly influence the organizational growth.
