Energy Transition on Public Transportation During Covid-19 in a Large City : A Study in Bogota
The study was developed using the LEAP platform which is calibrated with data from 2019 and elaborated from 2020 to 2040 with several realistic scenarios based on energy policies implemented in Bogot´a. The simulations include different scenarios: Business as Usual; High Growth; Low Growth; and Fast Transition. The results confirm the remarkable role of the energy transition towards cleaner fuels and the impact in the energy demand and environmental effects. The results demonstrate the need to accelerate the energy transition with cleaner energy sources such as natural gas and electricity. Comparing BAS scenario with Fast Transition
