ENRICHING LEARNING THROUGH A REAL LIVELIHOOD EXPERIENCE
The purpose of the study seeks to explain effectiveness of experiential learning projects in management education. This study has employed a qualitative research design. The respondents of the study comprised 45 students pursuing their regular management programs in one of the leading B School in Tamil, Nadu, which has more than 40 years of existence, approval of the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and the first in India to be awarded and accredited by Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The results surprisingly revealed that 90 percent of the students had positive attitude towards experiential learning project. During this period of two days the students said they learnt most things that an MBA graduate would not learn from books over the course of two years.
