Enrichment of Bibliometric Databases by Assigning Region Information by Means of the Web

Enrichment of a bibliometric database is fulfilled by assigning regional information based on the country, city and postal code information in the database. GeoNames, Google Places Web services and Wikipedia page parsing methods are applied and quite high accuracy has been reached by means of the applied methods
