Enseignement et recherche en gestion:Une analyse organisationnelle;Business Education and Research in Management in France:An Organizational Analysis

(VF)L'objectif de cet article est de proposer une analyse comparative fondée sur la théorie contractuelle des organisations de deux formes d'organisation concurrentes au sein du système français de l'enseignement de la gestion : les Grandes Ecoles de Gestion (de statut consulaire) et les Instituts d'Administration des Entreprises (de statut universitaire). Cette analyse permet notamment de comprendre les choix de ces deux types d'organisation en matière de recherche et d'enseignement en relation notamment avec leurs systèmes de contrôle et d'incitation.(VA)The objective of this article is to propose a comparative analysis, based on the contractual theory of organizations, of two concurrent forms of organization within the French system of business education : the "Grandes Ecoles" (the French Business Schools, which, most often, depend of Chambers of Commerce) and the "Instituts d'Administration des Entreprises" (which depends of the Universities). This analysis in particular allows understanding the choices of these two types of organization concerning their two main activities, research and teaching, in relationship in particular to their control and incentive systems.
