Ensuring the Country's Food Security

The author argues that the "Food Security Doctrine of the Russian Federation for the Medium Term," approved by the Russian president, does not give a clear idea of a promising national model for developing the food economy that is coordinated with global trends in this sphere, on the one hand, and takes into account the specific nature of the current condition and potential opportunities for domestic agroindustrial production, on the other. In general, the document is not very useful and needs to be radically revised.
