ERP Implementation at New Mangalore Port, India

This paper aims to give a brief overview of the operations at NMPT pre-ERP implementation, problems encountered during the implementation phase and a study of the architecture of ERP at NMPT. Research approach is descriptive (to describe things, events, situations or portray an accurate profile of persons) and Case Study Approach. Qualitative research strategy has been followed in this paper. The conclusions drawn from the study is that ERP implementation can play a vital role in improving the organizational as well as financial performance of the organization
