Ethique et gestion des ressources humaines : une revue critique de la littérature théorique et empirique

Our article aims at evaluating the theories used to the ethical analysis of human resource management (HRM), by highlighting the contribution and limits of each theory to our understanding of ethical issues in HRM. In order to do this, first, we have made a theoretical and critical examination of each ethical framework, thus presenting their contribution and limits to the study of HRM. Secondly, we have reviewed research dealing with ethical implications of HRM, over 15 years (from 1991 to 2005), which represents a total of 177 articles. Our work reveals some serious deficiencies in theoretical and empirical literature, which lead us to question the validity of the conceptual frameworks that are used.
