Europäische Baunachfrage : nach dramatischem Einbruch Verschnaufpause im Jahr 2011 ; ausgewählte Ergebnisse der Euroconstruct-Sommerkonferenz 2011

In den Jahren 2008 bis 2010 schrumpften die europäischen Bauleistungen um insgesamt 15% auf rund 1,3 Billionen Euro. Besonders stark war der Rückgang im Wohnungsbau, der in diesem Zeitraum sogar um mehr als ein Fünftel nachgab. Die übrigen Hochbaumaßnahmen wiesen ebenfalls ein zweistelliges Minus auf. Dagegen kam der Tiefbau mit einer Verringerung der Bauaktivitäten um knapp 3,5 % noch vergleichsweise glimpflich davon. Während der Wohnungsbau in Europa in diesem Jahr voraussichtlich um fast 2% zulegen wird, ist die Entwicklung in den beiden anderen Baubereichen weiter abwärts gerichtet. Insbesondere die Tiefbaumaßnahmen dürften nochmals deutlich eingeschränkt werden. Insgesamt ergibt sich somit für das gesamte Bauvolumen in Europa 2011 ein leichter Rückgang von knapp 0,5 %. Erst 2012 dürften die Bauleistungen in den 19 Euroconstruct-Ländern in der Summe wieder zunehmen. 2013 wird sich das Wachstum dann verstärken.
