Extinct Sustainable Practices : Case Studies of the Desert Based Traditional Indian Enterprises and Traditional Societies

This is a paper on the current climate change crisis. There are many societies that are able to preserve and protect environment inspite of adversity. One such society is the society of the Western Rajasthan. Being from desert region, they appreciate the importance of conservation of our resources. There is a need to revive such practices which can help in protection of environment. This paper documents some of the practices, which have now become extinct due to westernization. These practices may be very useful in our war against the climate crisis
