EZB: mehr Transparenz wagen

Die Europäische Zentralbank ist eine Institution, die nicht direkt demokratisch legitimiert ist. Dies wird insbesondere kritisiert, seit sie weitreichende Entscheidungen an den Grenzen ihres Mandats trifft. Würde die EZB die Öffentlichkeit häufiger und genauer informieren, könnte sie ihre Glaubwürdigkeit stärken. Zudem sind durch eine Erhöhung der Transparenz auch bessere gesamtwirtschaftliche Ergebnisse ihrer Tätigkeit zu erwarten.
