Factors Influencing Work Efficiency of the Royal Thai Air Force Air Traffic Controllers

This thesis entitled “Factors Influencing Work Efficiency of The Royal Thai Air Force Air Traffic Controllers” had the objectives of 1) Studying personnel characteristic factors influencing work efficiency of the Royal Thai Air Force Air Traffic Controllers. 2) Studying the influence of work-related factors on work efficiency of the Royal Thai Air Force Air Traffic Controllers. 3) The results shall be used in the Royal Thai Air Force’s human resources planning to developed officers on work efficiency. The sample group in this research was 100 the Royal Thai Air Force Air Traffic Controllers that continuous working in 2016. Questionnaire were used to collect data. Statistics used to analyze data at statistical significant level of 0.05. The results found that most of the respondents were 31-40 years of age with the monthly income of 15,001-20,000 baht, having 6-10 years of working experience and holding current Air Traffic Controller’s Licenses. The total factors towards work efficiency of the Royal Thai Air Force Air Traffic Controllers were most emphasized the areas of personnel performance, working procedure and output products respectively. The work-related factors towards work efficiency of the Royal Thai Air Force Air Traffic Controllers in the area of pride in work were considered most important. The analysis of multiple linear regression found that work-related factors in term of pride in work and job recognition influenced overall work efficiency of the Royal Thai Air Force Air Traffic Controllers.
