The report Financial analysis of the Major Furniture Players in Europe is the result of a CSIL processing of dataset made up of a selection of medium and large companies. The report is at its second edition (the previous one was published in the year 2013). The present research further extends the analysis, processing 2,400 balance sheets, with a focus on 660 companies for which a more in depth analysis was conducted. Aim of the report is to assess the state of health of the European furniture industry and to provide a basic judgement on each company performance in terms of growth, profitability and financial situation. Over the past few years, furniture spending of EU consumers has been contracting and competition on the market is increasing. European furniture manufacturers are facing this situation and even with difficulties are finding their way to go out of the crisis.
