Financial Inclusion : Initiative in Banking Sector

The all-encompassing growth is possible only through the proper mechanism which channelize all the resources from top level to the bottom level. Financial inclusion is a innovation concept which means delivery of banking services at an affordable cost to the vast sections of disadvantaged and low income group. The main focus of financial inclusion in India is to promote sustainable development and generating employment in rural area for the rural population. Household with the lower income often lack access to bank account and have to spend money and time for multiple visit to avail the banking services, be in opening a saving bank account or availing a loan, these families find it more difficult to save and to plan financially for the future. So here the role of financial inclusion is to not only serve to the banking clients, but also to integrate the unbankable clients by making them bankable.
