Finnlands Genossenschaftsbanken vor, während und nach der nordischen Bankenkrise der 1990er Jahre
Zusammenfassung Finnlands Bankensystem wurde zu Beginn der 1990er Jahre von einer schweren Krise erschüttert. Davon waren auch die Genossenschaftsbanken betroffen. Sie profitierten jedoch von den noch größeren Problemen bei den Sparkassen und gingen am Ende gestärkt aus der Krise hervor. Allerdings trübt die organisatorische Spaltung der Genossenschaftsbanken im Gefolge der Krise das Bild. Die finnischen Lösungsansätze dienen heute vielfach als Vorbild für den Umgang mit der aktuellen Finanzmarktkrise.
