Food Security in India

This article mainly focuses on the concept of development keeping in view the basic right to food of an individual. This has been analysed critically in the context of India and it goes further to the extent of positive comparison between India and its contemporary countries. It is very important to regard the basic human right to food, an individual’s natural right and not just arbitrarily and blindfolded crave for development. A balance has to be struck between both. The article concludes by laying out some remedies for a sustainable maintenance of such balance and in turn the common good en masse
