From Individual Psychology to Macroeconomics

Within the theory of society in Why Work , modern economic development is linked directly to the effort of citizens in their daily work. The general theory of psychology in The Origin of Consciousness describes the causality of individual mood and conduct and shows how there is no causality in groups, and all human causality lies in the individual mind. It follows that the foundation of the modern economy of any nation lies in the fundamental psychology of its citizens. That is the root of the national economy lies in the individual minds of the people who constitute the nation. It further follows that economic science at its root is the mathematical application, accumulation and summation to the minds of the people and manipulation of those mathematics in the search for ideas in managing group activity in the form of political macro and micro economic policy. In this paper I show how this base accounts for the transition from individual activity through small group activity (microeconomics) to national economic activity (macroeconomics)
