"Jean-Paul Fitoussi has left a big mark both in terms of scholarship and policy-making influence around the world, and even more in Europe and France. Fitoussi's pluralistic approach has shaped modern macroeconomics, political economy, economics of inequality and, more recently, the economics of sustainability.
