In the last years of the 20th century the education institutions has increased their efforts for the university quality. At the same time, the University contribution to the research and development has improved. At the beginning of the 21st century is important to include the effects because Bolonia agreements'. In 2010 there will be important changes in the studies and beside in the teaching function. This work analyze the paper of the university professor in this new environment and open the discuss between their two functions: teaching and research.
