The Future of Inclusive Green Growth and Creation of Decent Jobs in Developing Countries : Attracting Investments for Inclusive Green Growth and Creation of Decent Jobs

Future-proofing, which is described as a process of anticipating the future and managing its impacts with appropriate mitigating methods and policies, could be adopted by developing countries to provide a better environment for inclusive growth and creation of decent jobs. Most countries provide a compilation of policies and plans to guide their pursuit and implementation of sustainable growth and development based on available investment opportunities in priority sectors.This study looks at these opportunities using a case study of Nigeria, Zambia and Egypt, the policies put in place by the national governments, checks for alignment with the sustainable development goals, and calls for developing countries to prioritize the development of green growth opportunities in order to enhance their potentials for inclusive growth and creation of decent jobs for the growing populace
