Gender Responsive Budgeting: The Case of Kerala

This paper we make an attempt to understand and analyze the budget from a gender perspective. The paper looks into the different areas of allocations, how far it is â€˜pro womanâ€™ budget or a â€˜gender responsiveâ€™ budget and whether the budget reflects the commitments made in the womenâ€™s policy announced by the government in 2009.
