Genossenschaften als berichtspflichtige Unternehmen von öffentlichem Interesse („public-interest entities“) im Sinne der neuen Rechnungslegungsrichtlinie?
Zusammenfassung Im Rahmen der neuen Rechnungslegungsrichtlinie werden an sog. Unternehmen von öffentlichem Interesse („public-interest entities“) erhöhte Anforderungen an die Berichterstattung gestellt. Erfüllt etwa ein kleines oder mittelgroßes Unternehmen das Tatbestandsmerkmal eines Unternehmens von öffentlichem Interesse, werden die Anforderungen denen für große Unternehmen gleichgestellt oder gehen unter bestimmten Bedingungen sogar darüber hinaus. Vor diesem Hintergrund wird im vorliegenden Beitrag analysiert, ob Genossenschaften als Unternehmen von öffentlichem Interesse im Sinne der Rechnungslegungsrichtlinie gelten könnten. Die einzelnen an das Tatbestandsmerkmal des öffentlichen Interesses anknüpfenden Berichtspflichten werden hierbei nicht im Detail behandelt.
