"GIS A JOB": WHAT USE GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS IN SPATIAL ECONOMICS?
Geographical information systems (GIS) are used for inputting, storing, managing, analyzing and mapping spatial data. This article argues that each of these functions can help researchers interested in spatial economics.
