Globalization : Opportunities and Challenges

Globalization as a phenomenon has come to stay. India started its journey in this direction, hesitatingly, in 1991; China started a decade earlier. Today people, nations and economies are getting increasingly connected. This has wider ramifications to the welfare of people all over the world. Globalization brings along with it a whole range of new avenues and a plethora of problems. The second international conference on management (IBS Ahmedabad International Conference on Management - IBSA ICON 2007) is an attempt to capture some glimpses of these.
