How Frustrated Are Americans?
The authors analyze data from an in-depth survey of about 900 residents in Detroit to determine how indebted they were. The results suggest that it will take considerably more time for Americans to feel comfortable enough to spend again. That may well mean that the long and slow economic recovery is likely to continue.
