Il Lavoro Cambia e i Giovani che fanno? Tra struttura, aspirazioni e percezioni
Per effetto di molteplici processi tecnologici, demografici, culturali e globali, il lavoro sta trasformandosi nelle forme e significati; la pandemia da Covid-19 ha inoltre mostrato che, in determinate condizioni, queste trasformazioni possono conoscere improvvise accelerazioni. È aumentata la segmentazione interna al mercato, soprattutto in termini di stabilità contrattuale e, quindi, continuità di reddito. Inoltre, le innovazioni tecnologiche e i processi di espansione educativa stanno ridisegnando la distribuzione e il contenuto delle professioni. Queste trasformazioni si accompagnano a cambiamenti anche nelle percezioni che gli individui, soprattutto giovani, hanno del mondo del lavoro. I giovani reagiscono alle crescenti difficoltà di ingresso adattando le proprie aspirazioni e diversificando le strategie di transizione all'età adulta, in base alle risorse che hanno a disposizione. Questa curatela nasce dall'esigenza di superare letture parziali e iperspecializzate sui temi del mercato del lavoro, delle professioni e dell'istruzione. Prendendo le mosse da due sessioni della conferenza annuale della Società Italiana di Sociologia Economica, tenutasi a Torino nel 2020, il volume si propone di mettere in dialogo ricerche accademiche e analisi degli operatori del territorio e stakeholders su due ordini di tematiche: da un lato, le trasformazioni strutturali del lavoro e delle professioni e, dall'altro, le percezioni, le aspettative e le strategie messe in campo dai giovani che si trovano a fronteggiare tali mutamenti.
