The Impact of Chinaís Joining World Trade Organization on Chinese Real Estate: Opportunities and Challenge. The Use of SSM( Social Status Matrix) and LCM ( Life Cycle Matrix) to study housing demand in Malaysia- The Case of Johor Bahru City
The problem of oversupply situation in housing industry has caused problem of falling price and abandoned projects. Housing demand study is important to forecast a more realistic demand in the housing industry. The aim of the study is to propose alternative method of projection in housing demand with the use of Life Cycle matrix and Social Status Matrix. The result is based on field survey and National census data (1980-2000) of Johor Bahru City in Malaysia.
