Impactul Investiţiilor Străine Directe asupra Exporturilor din România (Impact of the Foreign Direct Investment on Romanian Exports)

Romanian Abstract: Această lucrare abordează impactul investiţiilor străine directe asupra exporturilor României. Pentru a studia relaţiile dintre cele două variabile utilizăm tehnici ale cointegrării şi un model Vector Error Correction. Rezultă o influenţă semnificativă a investiţiilor străine directe asupra exporturilor. În schimb, impactul exporturilor asupra investiţiilor străine directe este destul de slab.English Abstract: This paper explores the impact of the foreign direct investment on the Romanian exports. We employ cointegration techniques and a Vector Error Correction Model to study the relations between the two variables. We find a significant influence of the foreign direct investment on the exports. Instead, the impact of exports on the foreign direct investment is rather weak
