Impactul mediului online asupra programelor de prevenire a abandonului scolar: Un studiu privind problema educatiei in familiile din Romania
Nowadays, the Internet has become the fastest and the most efficient global communication medium. For social marketing practitioners it represents a valuable tool in promoting social behavior, encouraging consumer involvement in areas such as education, health or environment. This article aims to debate the issue dropout in Romania based on practical aspects. In this sense, are presented the main causes of dropout in Romanian families and the issues of dropout in families with poor financial situations. Furthermore, the article shows the relationships between children and parents from poor backgrounds, and the impact of these relationships on education. The obtained results describe the relationship between the five variables and their importance to the consumer. In conclusion, the study extends research on dropout in Romania, also showing consumers' willingness to support children from disadvantaged families to attend school. Furthermore, the paper shows that consumers' perceptions can not be ignored and that they deserve special attention given to importance of dropout prevention programs.
